College / Young Adult Ministry
The Fire (Faith Ignites Radical Experiences) is a new developing ministry in our community. This strategic and purposeful ministry seeks to minister to the unique needs of Young Adults in Mansfield Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re a young adult in the work force or attending one of the local universities/colleges (…Shout out to those at MU) we are here for you!
This ministry is developing and undergoing some changes as we embark on the first official year. Since January, Courtney and I have put out some feelers and had a few functions, while we continued to pray about and determine the beginnings of this ministry. We feel that there is such a need for a focused ministry to Young Adults in our area and we are answering the Call.
We hope this ministry will ignite faith in your life that will create radical experiences because life is not boring, with Christ.
John Wesley said this about his ministry, “I set myself on fire and people come and watch me burn.” In the same way, we can say, “When you set yourself on fire, people love to come and see you burn.” Fire is quickly catching and consuming us with faith. This is something that our generation needs!
